Personal stories and other information about the quilters and his/her/their collections are welcome. Legacy Nomination
MQA was established in 1991 to enhance quilting in Mississippi. In 2005, MQA established the MQA Quilt Legacy Committee with the aim of discovering and safeguarding a wide range of quilts made for ordinary and special moments. We need your help to identify and honor our state's quilters for future generations. This program is a way to pay tribute to quilters who are 65 years and older. If you submit online you will be contacted by email and asked to submit a photo of the quilter and one of the quilts made. Photos are required for nomination. Remember we are an all volunteer organization, with many of our members doing this on their own time. Please be patient with us.
